Samuraykiny: Guardians of Tradition

Introduction

Samuraykiny, also known as Guardians of Tradition, are a group of young Filipino artists who are dedicated to preserving and promoting the traditional art forms of the Philippines. Through their performances and workshops, they aim to educate audiences about the rich cultural heritage of their country and inspire a new generation of artists to continue these traditions.

History

The Samuraykiny group was founded in 2008 by a group of friends who shared a passion for traditional Filipino art forms such as music, dance, and martial arts. They were inspired by the stories of their ancestors who used these art forms as a way to express their beliefs, values, and history. Determined to keep these traditions alive, they began to study under masters of these art forms and eventually formed their own group to share their knowledge with others.

Mission
